Be sure that the recommended horsepower for the selected snowblower corresponds to the horse power of the tractor.
Situations which can occur if the tractor used is not powerful enough:
- The snowblower is too heavy for the tractor.
- The snowblower is difficult to maneuver.
- The speed is difficult to maintain and the chute is frequently blocked.
- Insufficient performance of the snowblower.
Situations which can occur if the tractor is too powerful:
- Premature failure of the snowblower.
- The snow overflows on each side of the snowblower.
- Too steep an angle for the drive line and premature failure of the u-joints and yokes.
The working width of the snowblower should exceed by 4" or more the overall width of your tractor. In indicating the overall width of your tractor, our selection tool will propose models accordingly.
